MAY – Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
You're invited to participate in the largest one-day food drive in the nation!
Saturday, May 12 is the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive. On that day, letter carriers all over the country will collect non-perishable food donations left by mailboxes.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you, individually or as part of a group, to show support for local families in need. Watch this video to see the difference you could make.
Fill a bag or box with non-perishable food items. Leave it by your mailbox on Saturday, May 12 for your letter carrier to pick up. Or organize a food drive in your community and deliver food to a local food bank or shelter.
Take photos of your donations at your mailbox or distribution site and share them on your school Facebook page by May 31.

APRIL – Pinwheels for Prevention®
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and we invite you to show your support for our nation's children by making your own pinwheel display!
Pinwheels are the national symbol of child abuse prevention and a visible reminder of the happy and healthy childhood that all children deserve.
Make or purchase inexpensive pinwheels and create a pinwheel garden in your yard or at a local business (with permission). Or you can make a Pinwheels for Prevention poster to display on your front porch or window, and be sure to include your school's name!
