Technical FAQs
Do I need to own a computer to attend?
All students enrolled in FPCSO receive a school issued loaner computer system to support the learning process. These systems are instructional property and must be returned when the student leaves the school. FPCSO, with the family, arranges pick up and instruction of each system, technical support, and troubleshooting.
What computer skills are required?
The Learning Coach needs to have at least basic computer skills. Use of the computer is an important part of the program, but in the early grades, it is mostly the parent (or other responsible adult) who interacts with the computer. The program is user-friendly.
Is your computer K12 ready?
To use K12’s program, you’ll need a computer with an internet connection and free software programs, which you can download from the internet. For more information visit the K12 Customer Care and Technical Support page.
