In-Person Testing at FOA: What Families Need to Know

Stories & Spotlights
In-person Testing

At Friendship Online Academy (FOA), we believe in partnering with families to ensure every scholar reaches their full potential. A key part of this journey is our in-person testing program, which provides valuable insight into your child’s growth throughout the year.

✨ What is In-Person Testing?

FOA hosts three in-person testing windows throughout the school year:

BOY: Beginning-of-Year Testing

🗓️ Date: Tuesday, August 12, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

📍 Location: Friendship Kansas Avenue Campus

📌 This assessment gathers early insight into student readiness and academic knowledge. Results help set personalized goals and support for the year ahead.

MOY: Middle-of-Year Testing

🗓️ Held in December

📌 This checkpoint shows how much your child has grown since the beginning of the year and identifies areas needing attention.

EOY: End-of-Year Testing

🗓️ Held in the spring (April- May)

📌 This final assessment looks at overall grade-level proficiency and academic growth across the year.

📅 Attendance & Planning Ahead

In-person testing is mandatory and must be completed within the scheduled timeframes. If your child has siblings or you require additional support, we’re here to help! Our team works closely with families to provide accommodation when needed.
