Technical FAQs

Do I need to own a computer to attend?
All students enrolled in Friendship PCS Online receive a school issued loaner computer system to support the learning process. These systems are instructional property and must be returned when the student leaves the school. Friendship PCS Online works with families to coordinate system pickup, provide setup guidance, and ensure ongoing technical support and troubleshooting.
What computer skills are required?
The Learning Coach needs to have at least basic computer skills. Use of the computer is an important part of the program, but in the early grades, it is mostly the parent (or other responsible adult) who interacts with the computer. The program is user-friendly.
Is your computer K12 ready?
To use K12’s program, you’ll need a computer with an internet connection and free software programs, which you can download from the internet. For more information visit the Customer Support page.
What does the computer system loaned by Friendship PCS Online include?
